Question $5,000 Budget for Affiliate Marketing - Where to Start?

Hello everyone, writing this after 2 years I guess, as I was busy making money with my tech & digital consulting business.

In 2 years I have made some good money, won an award, got 5 certificates, cleared all my debt & bought a new car as well...!

But as it happens with every business - I have reached a plateau, especially because my income is 100% dependent on how many hours I work - AND THAT SUCKS!

I have made some money in past with Affiliate Marketing & Organic SEO but this time I have $5,000 budget to buy traffic as i want to test & scale as soon as possible.

QUESTION - Can you suggest latest strategies (2-16-2017), courses, blogs & other resources that show how to setup the automated system for Affiliate Marketing.

Basically, I don't want to be dependent on hourly work & projects anymore & want to do something that I can scale, put money in buying traffic, get ROI & invest it back in the business.

    My Strengths

    - Website, WordPress, Landing Pages: 9/10
    - Tech Setup: 9/10
    - Marketing Automation, Funnels: 9/10
    - SEO: 9/10
    - Copy & Content: 5/10

    Thanks in advance.

Depending on how much "affiliate marketing" you already know... You might want to search for Authority Hacker Pro, Overnight Super Affiliate, or Stack That Money (all available here) to learn more about niche selection, content generation, and scaling up. Combined with your existing skillset, you should be able to use most of the $5K for traffic and do nicely.

Good luck and keep us posted.

i have an advise for ya , you could fully ignore me ofc if you dont like that.

MY advise is: DONT start an affiliate buisness!! horrible biz model , dont just spend money and time on building other ppl's biz , make your own biz.

leme give you an example , pick 2-3 courses from here , extract their material and make you OWN course for like $997.

drive traffic to it with that $5k you got , i am almost 100% certain that every $350 (AT THE MOST) spent on ads will result in a sale even if your copy is shit.

THEN you can offer affiliate shit to them AFTER they pay you the big bucks.

    Cheers

    Hey there

Have a look at this video

    Code:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTZZ-x70bfk
Since the area that you are relatively weaker at is the content, this can be outsourced as they demonstrate in the video above.

It's not cheap but a few thousand dollars can get you some way.

The link above is primarily a SEO / Content Marketing strategy.

You could of course go the route of paid ads e.g. PPC, which I think is quicker although they seem to have gotten results really quickly (although the aged high DA domain played a key part in that I'm sure).

Personally, I don't think it matters where you are doing affiliate or creating your own product.

The key is to build a working funnel and an audience / email list.

Once you have that you can always launch your own product later. Its easier to start with being an affiliate in my view.

The part I find most difficult is finding the niche to begin with.

So I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

    Good luck.

Well if you want to scale and you want to earn big then now its time to start a business. Hire some people, hire 1 person, teach him one aspect of business where your employee can save your time. Once that employee is trained start hiring more. Once your team is made now just focus on management, it will not depend on how much hours you give.
